This
project stemmed from the desire to make good use of a person’s ability and
willingness to improve his/her living conditions. To be offered the possibility
to join a group in order to better one’s cooking skills with the help of a
dynamic and competent supervisor is to have made a choice that shows one’s
desire to become self-reliant and responsible. These workshops will teach you new
and easy to prepare recipes (also saving you precious dollars) that you will be
able to duplicate at home. These meetings are held in friendly and cosy
ambiance.
When
contacting us, the person in charge of this project will take the time to
clearly explain how we organize these workshops and the available places and
dates. Here is an example of five main courses to tempt you:
- Shepherd`s pie
- Spaghetti
- Beef and cheese stuffed squash
- Macaroni and cheese
- Chicken stir fry
This
project has been made possible thanks to a tripartite collaboration between the
Café de la Débrouille, the Municipality of Rigaud and the Trois-Lacs School
Commission. Moreover, we are very grateful for the financial participation of
the Centre Local de Développement without whose help this project would not
